Privacy

Manifest is a Tesla mileage log for small-business owners. We help you keep a personal vs business record of destinations and miles so you can work with your accountant. We do not file tax deductions, prepare returns, or give tax advice.

When you create an account and connect Tesla, we store:

• Account details you give us (name, email, hashed password).
• Tesla OAuth tokens, encrypted at rest, so we can refresh access without asking you again.
• Vehicles on the Tesla account (name, model, year, color, last four of the VIN).
• Destinations — start and end points only — plus trip miles. We do not store route polylines or a continuous GPS track.
• Personal or business labels you (or your bot) apply to trips and places.
• Place names you set, including Home and Work.
• Plan and billing status. Paid plans (Mega, Giga) go through Stripe. We do not store full card numbers.
• Optional Manifest API keys you issue for your own classifier bot (hashed at rest). We never store vendor AI keys — not xAI, OpenAI, or any other model provider.

We use the Tesla account only to list vehicles without waking them and to record destinations and miles when Tesla makes that data available — from a vehicle that is already awake and parked, or from completed-drive history. We never call wake_up or other wake-forcing endpoints. Live ingest is rolling out; a connected account does not mean every park immediately appears in the log.

Stripe processes Mega and Giga subscriptions. Stripe receives the payment details needed to charge you. Manifest keeps plan, status, and Stripe customer / subscription identifiers so we can apply Spark / Mega / Giga caps.

• We do not file a deduction or sign a tax return.
• We do not wake the car.
• We do not store vendor AI API keys.
• We do not sell your Tesla tokens, destinations, or mileage log.

We share data with Stripe for billing, and with Tesla only as needed to complete the OAuth connection you start. If you issue a Manifest API key, the bot you point at that key can read trips and places you expose through the portal API. We do not share the log with other customers.

We keep the log while your account is open so you can review a tax year. Encrypted Tesla tokens stay until you disconnect Tesla or delete the account. You can revoke portal keys in Settings. To request deletion, use the contact below.
