The service
Manifest is a Tesla mileage log. We build a personal vs business record from Tesla account data — destinations (start and end), miles, and the labels you apply — so you can maximize a standard mileage deduction with your own accountant. We do not file that deduction, prepare returns, or give tax advice.
Manifest is not affiliated with Tesla, Inc. or Space Exploration Technologies. Tesla and related marks belong to their owners.
Your account
You must provide accurate account details and keep Tesla authorization current if you want destinations from the car. You are responsible for labels you file and for any bot you connect with a Manifest API key. Suggestions from a bot are not filed until you (or an explicit file call you authorized) write the label.
Never wake
Connecting Tesla does not give Manifest permission to wake or steer the vehicle. We refuse wake-forcing endpoints. Live ingest is rolling out. Destinations and miles appear from Tesla when that data is available — not the moment you park as a guaranteed live feed.
Plans and billing
Spark is free with a one-vehicle, two-trips-a-day cap. Mega and Giga are paid subscriptions billed through Stripe. Trials convert to a paid month unless you cancel. Failed or canceled paid plans fall back to Spark. Prices are shown on the pricing page before you start checkout.
Acceptable use
Do not abuse the Tesla connection, scrape other customers’ data, or send vendor AI secrets to Manifest. We will not store those keys. Do not use the service to claim miles you did not drive.
Limitation
The log is a record you maintain. IRS rules, rates, and what counts as a deductible mile are your responsibility and your accountant’s. Manifest is provided as-is. To the extent allowed by law we are not liable for missed deductions, Tesla API outages, delayed ingest, or tax outcomes.
